Christmas (Part 3 ) Christmas Day

We spent Christmas day at our house with my parents and Teresa and Navin. Santa was very good to Jason and Madison and brought them the requested kitchen. We were shocked at how much Madison even loves playing with it, and of course Jason is in cooking heaven. My favorite moment of the day was when Jason opened up the stick vac we got him. The kid absolutely loves to vacuum with his pretend Dyson, so mommy thought why not have him actually be cleaning the floors while he plays. When he opens the stick vac we proudly announce to him that its a vacuum that really works. Well Jason immediately comes back with "but I already have a vacuum that really works". No we we tell him this one really works. Jason becomes insistent that his vaccum really works (ok it makes noises and the hose really sucks up stuff but other that that its just a toy.) Eventually Jason says "Oh this new one is for Maw-Maw and Paw-Paw's house", because obviously he doesn't need two at home that really work. I just think it is so cute how all this time he really thought his toy vacuum was "really working"

Videos

Ok so these are really bad quality because they are taken with my point and shoot camera. I have no idea how to put video from our good video camera on here so this is all I have for you.

Video #1 - Madison and Jason's favorite thing to do together, she gets on the back of the tricycle even on days Jason is at school and just waits for him to ride her around, it is so cute!

Video #2 - Jason's Christmas Show at preschool was last night. His class sang "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" in Spanish. He is the third one from the left. I didn't get it on video when he took his vest off and put it around his neck like a cape while he was still on stage. I'm sure you can imagine it though.

A Visit to Santa

We went to the Gaylord Texan today and Santa had no line, so we went ahead and had the kids pictures made. Jason asked Santa for a kitchen, so I'm sure the elves will be hard at work fufilling his request.

Already trying to catch up...

Madison is riding on Jason's "big red car" now. This was the ride on toy that he got when he was 8 months old and it is still his favorite toy. Now that Madison is able to ride on it she follows him all around the house trying to keep up with him on his tricycle. I think she has many years of trying to catch up with her big brother ahead of her. Of course since this is his favorite toy the fights over it have already begun and I get to play referee. I think I have many years of referring ahead of me too!
