Madison's Baptism

We had Madison baptized on Sunday afternoon at St. Francis of Assisi. Brandy and Paul are her godparents. We had lots of family attend and everyone came back to our house afterwards for a lasagna dinner and cake. Madison looked like a little angel in her white gown.

My little smiley ones

I finally got a picture of both kids smiling, now yes Jason's is kind of a fake smile, but Madison's is genuine and they are both smiling so that is all that matters. It only took me 6 1/2 months to get this picture. Trust me, trying to get a 3 year old to hold still for pictures and actually smile is nearly impossible.

I got paid to shop!!!

I got all of this (plus 15 packets of kool-aid I forgot to put in the picture) and Kroger actually paid me 10 cents to take it out of the store. No joke, after coupons my total was -.10 and they gave me the dime....oh how I love coupons!

Our 6 year anniversary

Sunday was our 6 year anniversary, we went out on Saturday night to celebrate. My parents stayed with Jason and Madison. We went to dinner at Bonnie Ruth's which was really nice, we sat outside in an area all by ourselves. Then we went to have our very favorite desert in the whole world..... a Cheddar's cookie monster, so yummy! We ended the night by going to the Pocket Sandwich Theater to see the comedy troupe Pavlov's Dogs. They are all former members of Freudian Slip which was an improv group we used to go see at A&M. We had a wonderful 6 year anniversary, I still can't believe we have been married that long!

Lawn mower for hire

I have a lawn boy for hire, no not the tall one (I can barely get him to mow our lawn) the short one, he can mow any lawn. Jason is obsessed with cutting grass, he sits in his car seat and points out the window at the lawns and says " I can mow that grass, I can mow that grass....."

If only this enthusiasm would last until he is 14 or so.
