Big Girl Bed!

So these pics are a couple of weeks old, but better late than never right? We actually had to convert her crib into a toddler bed a couple of weeks ago when she started climbing out at only 19 months ahhhh!! She is such a little climber. The transition was a little rough at first but now she is sleeping in her big girl bed like a champ! She has some stuffed animals and books she can play with in her room. Her favorite thing to do while not sleeping though, is to dump all of her shoes out and put them on. That's my girly girl!

In the crib, see she was not very happy!

Shane anchoring the bookshelf to the wall. With Jason we did all of that "babyproofing" stuff before he could even crawl, but with the second child we waited till it was absolutely necessary!

In the big girl bed. Doesn't she look so much happier!!

More boating fun!

We went back out on the lake last weekend. This time even Madison got in on the fun, riding in the tube behind the boat. I rode with her and was a little freaked out by how much she was being bounced around, so we didn't ride long, but she loved it!

Madison and Mommy getting ready for her first ride!

Jason and Mommy, he's an old pro!

One fish, two fish

I've got two official swimmers on my hands! Both Jason and Madison finished there "survival" swimming lessons. Jason took them last year so he just did a 2 week refresher, this was Madi's first year for lessons. They teach them how to swim float swim. Jason likes the swimming and Madi is the floater, go figure! I'm so amazed at well they are swimming this year, I feel alot more confident taking both of them to the pool by myself, now that they can both swim.

What a mom won't do......

......to not have to cook dinner!! Last night was cow appreciation day at Chick fil a. If you dressed up as a cow you got a free combo meal, pretty sweet deal right? So everyone dressed up, except for Shane (party pooper!) Jason thought it was so fun to be a cow at Chick fil a, I think we will make it an annual event!

Notice how Madison couldn't stop stuffing her mouth long enough to take the picture!!

Jason's Trip

Jason went on his very first vacation without us, when did he get big enough to do that?! My Mom and Dad took him to Florida to visit Disney and the beach. He had a great time as evidenced from the pictures my parents brought back.

Getting ready for his favorite ride at Disney by watching Peter Pan

Coming down the slide of the "Honey I Shrunk the Kids" playground

Riding a giant ant

Hitching a ride on Paw-Paw for the parade

My happy boy!

Swimming in the ocean, they said he loved how the waves knocked him down.

It's Harvest Time!

My garden is overflowing with tomatoes, okra, cucumbers, green beans, and peppers! Jason is my usual garden picker, but since he is in Florida, Madi was my little helper.

Tasting tomatoes straight off the vine.

Look at that pout! Not so sure she liked it.

The bounty! Yummy, love fresh veggies from the garden!

The cucumber is almost as big as her head!

So anybody got any good recipes using cucumbers, okra or green beans?
